Description

The DIVASUB18A is a digitally processed active subwoofer designed as an ideal complement for DIVA Series loudspeakers. It not only extends low-frequency response but also significantly increases the efficiency and performance of the entire system.

The subwoofer uses a custom 18” high-efficiency woofer with a 3” voice coil, driven by a powerful 1500W CLASS-D amplifier with high headroom and dynamic control via DSP, for maximum distortion-free output power and constant reliability.

The sophisticated preamplifier section includes advanced processing with a high-performance DSP processor, for a linear response and high-definition sound. A user interface with an LCD display and a single knob control is available for quick selection and viewing of processor parameters. These parameters include crossover frequency selection, phase, and delay, for perfect coupling with the satellite used. A cardioid configuration mode is also available, allowing the coupling of two DIVASUB18A units to double the system's front efficiency and, at the same time, drastically reduce rear radiation.

The DIVASUB18A is housed in a lightweight and ultra-durable multi-ply wood cabinet, with a steel protective grille, two ergonomic handles, an M20 pole mount flange, and 4 professional wheels with braking system supplied as standard, for maximum ease of transport.
