The Move 8 features an 8" driver and a 1" tweeter, all driven by a powerful 60W battery-powered amplifier. It includes a built-in 4-channel mixer and Bluetooth connectivity.

MOVE 8 offers the familiar transparent and defined sound of the historic PREMIUM PR:O series with high speech intelligibility and fatigue-free listening. A highly efficient 8" bass/midrange speaker delivers powerful and impressive performance even at high volumes, with long battery life at the same time. The 1" driver with horn provides an excellent and balanced sound up to 20 kHz. All components are integrated into a lightweight and stable multifunctional wooden enclosure, which can be positioned vertically on a speaker stand thanks to its pole mount or horizontally as a monitor.

"Hot-Swap" Battery Replacement

What makes MOVE 8 unique compared to its competitors is the dual battery compartment, a slot that can hold the included batteries. The speaker can be powered by one or both batteries simultaneously. The most interesting feature allows battery replacement during operation; tool-free battery replacement can be performed without interruption ("Hot Swap" function). Bluetooth audio streaming also continues uninterrupted.

The integrated 4-channel mixer with Bluetooth 5.0 audio streaming, Master control, and Aux input makes an external mixer unnecessary for most applications with microphones, keyboards, acoustic guitars, or DJ equipment. Additionally, the mixer offers direct access to EQ and Reverb for channels 1 – 3.

Extend Move 8's functionality with the Android and iOS app

The free MOVE 8 REMOTE app is not only a remote control for your MOVE 8, but it also adds some sophisticated features that make it even more enjoyable. The app can be used to control all channel settings (EQ, reverb, volume) and the master volume. Furthermore, a 2-band equalizer for channel 4 (Aux/Bluetooth) is available, and the karaoke function can be activated for Bluetooth audio streaming and Aux input with Vocal Cancellation and Transpose. The built-in effects (chorus, tremolo, and flanger) and 3 Celestion guitar cabinet simulations can be selected on channel 3 and used, for example, to optimize the sound of an electric guitar. All EQ settings can also be stored and quickly recalled.
