The PLX-CRSS12 is an industry-first hybrid digital/analog professional turntable with DVS analog playback that also includes customizable feel, Performance Pads, an OLED Display, and much more. This revolutionary deck is the first in the world to offer DVS control of digital music via DJ software along with analog vinyl playback: you'll never have to worry about the needle skipping again when using the PLX-CRSS12 in DVS mode with Serato DJ Pro or Rekordbox.

Right from the first glance, you'll notice how the PLX-CRSS12 has been designed for fluid scratching and intuitive performance, adapting to your style. You can adjust its response by turning the MAGVEL CLAMP rotation knob, changing the "heavier" or "lighter" feel of the record.

Tonearm-free DVS control eliminates "skipping" in digital playback

No matter how hard you scratch, the needle will never skip when you use the PLX-CRSS12 in Digital Vinyl mode, thanks to the tonearm-free system. The new MAGVEL CLAMP securely holds the record in place when you touch it, allowing you to directly control the digital music file, giving you the true feel of vinyl without the need for a tonearm. When playing analog records, the experience is the same as using the famous PLX-1000 deck.

Response adjustment to suit your style

Find your perfect "weight" by turning the knob on the MAGVEL CLAMP. The amount of torque is increased or decreased to give a lighter or heavier feel without changing the slipmats or slipsheets. You can also adjust the turntable's torque level in the Utility settings, and you can choose between 3 deck stop speeds via a selector on the front of the unit.

Performance Pads and OLED display for accurate and fast control

The PLX-CRSS12 inherits classic turntable layout elements, but a new addition is the 4 built-in MIDI-mappable Performance Pads for quick access to your favorite features. They're right at your fingertips – just below the platter – so you can trigger Hot Cues and samples faster than ever, and they're very practical if you're performing on a mixer without pads.

The built-in OLED display also helps you focus on the deck. You can keep an eye on the tempo and key range during Step Pitching in Analog or Digital Vinyl modes. The display also gives you quick access to utility settings – reducing distractions and the need to look at your laptop or mixer during your performance.

An evolved, high-quality sound

Let your audience hear the music exactly as it was conceived. The PLX-CRSS12 has been carefully crafted to further improve the sound quality of the PLX-1000 professional DJ turntable. A switching power supply is used to eliminate any vibration and stray flux from the transformer and suppress any unwanted noise, thus achieving high-resolution sound quality. The use of rubber tubing inside the tonearm has further improved vibration control compared to the PLX-1000. The RCA terminals are gold-plated like those of the PLX-1000, and the phono signal is transmitted directly via a stable connection with the plug to reproduce the sound of analog records with high-quality audio.
