Phil Jones Bass announces the launch of the powerful yet compact 70-watt BE-17 Bass Engine combo with a 7-inch speaker and Bluetooth. The single proprietary ultra-high-efficiency 7-inch speaker was designed by Phil Jones to make the most of the 70-watt (RMS) Class D amplifier with a linear analog preamplifier. The high-efficiency woofer is complemented by a 3-inch ferrofluid-cooled high-energy transducer for high frequencies, which has proven extremely reliable in thousands of PJB-designed PA speakers. This combination achieves maximum fidelity, with a frequency range from 31 Hz to 22 kHz. This makes it an excellent amplifier not only for bass, but also for many other instruments, making it an extremely versatile amplifier.

It measures 29.9 cm wide x 29.9 cm deep x 24.1 cm high and weighs only 6.8 kg. In addition, the Bass Engine features the latest highest-quality Qualcomm V5.1 (aptX HD) Bluetooth codec, which offers sound quality comparable to CDs. Furthermore, it can accept Drum Machines or any other stereo source via the L+R line input jacks. The stereo headphone output supports private practice scenarios without disturbing others.
