The KORG Pitchblack X chromatic guitar tuner is the most advanced solution for professional tuning control on stage and in the studio. It features a display and LED Meter with 4 display modes and adjustable brightness, offers high-precision tuning with only ±0.1 cent tolerance, integrated just-right tuning system that facilitates intonation, and can select TRUE BYPASS and ULTRA BUFFER circuits that prevent tonal degradation of the input signal. Power is mixed: battery or AC adapter (optional), ideal for pedalboard installation.

Switching between TRUE BYPASS or the new ULTRA BUFFER

Pitchblack X, in addition to featuring a TRUE BYPASS circuit that leaves the input sound unaltered, now also includes an ULTRA BUFFER, but why is this so important?

Most electric guitars use passive pickups with high impedance output. Using cables longer than 6 meters causes tonal degradation, usually in the high frequencies; a phenomenon that tends to worsen with longer cables. The BUFFER boosts the signal over long cables to precisely avoid this tonal alteration, keeping the sound clear and clean even when the pedal is off. The ULTRA BUFFER improves sound quality in bypass mode, to maintain audio quality even when using long cables, to connect to the tuner or when installing the tuner in an elaborate effects pedalboard. On Pitchblack X, you can select TRUE or ULTRA BUFFER depending on your preferences or needs.

LED Meter with adjustable brightness

On Pitchblack X, to achieve better visibility performance, a larger display and a greater number of LEDs have been introduced in the Meter. The Bright Mode (brightness adjustment) can be set to 2 levels, to achieve optimal visibility even in critical operating conditions such as on very bright stages, or outdoors.

High tuning precision up to 0.1 cent tolerance.

Pitchblack X allows for fast and precise tuning with a tolerance of only 0.1 cents when in Strobe mode; this makes it the ideal tool for professional Live or Recording situations where tuning is a fundamental parameter where approximations or inaccuracies are not allowed.

METER with 4 display modes

On the Meter Display, you can choose from 4 types of display according to personal needs: REGULAR, STROBE, HALF STROBE, which indicate pitch variations by the direction and fluctuation of the METER, to distinguish even the smallest pitch differences. MIRROR, which when tuning the instrument displays two LEDs on the left and right that cross towards the center.

Display with JUST-RIGHT TUNING function

Pitchblack X has a new "JUST-RIGHT TUNING" display function, which flashes the triangular LEDs on both sides when the tuning is correct, a function that eliminates any stress for the musician!

Robust cabinet; also works with battery power

Pitchblack X is housed in a robust aluminum cabinet finished with a robust scratch-resistant coating. It works with 9V batteries, and is perfect for musicians who do not use an effects pedalboard, if necessary it can also be powered by an AC adapter (optional).
