The Palmer MI PDI 03 JB is a Joe Bonamassa Signature Model Guitar Speaker Simulator DI designed for professional guitarists. This passive DI box with speaker simulator connects between the amplifier and speaker or dummy load, providing a balanced, frequency-corrected signal to be fed directly into the mixer or audio interfaces. Ideal for live performances and studio recordings, the PDI 03 JB replaces microphone miking. It meets Joe Bonamassa's quality standards, featuring an exclusive JB-Switch that amplifies the signal. Two three-level analog filters reproduce the frequency response of classic and modern speakers. Suitable for amplifiers up to 200 Watts, preamplifiers, and effects pedals. The robust powder-coated steel housing and Amphenol connectors ensure reliability. A Ground-Lift switch eliminates hum from ground loops. It is recommended to use a dummy load such as the Palmer Power Attenuator PDI06 or Palmer Dual Load Box PLB2X8 for direct recording without a speaker.
