The Mixer section and effects
On Pa5X ORIENTAL-76, sounds are processed by a complex chain of studio-quality effects, offering up to 10 Insert FX, 3 Master FX, and 1 Finalizer for each of the two Players. Keyboard Sets can use up to 3 Insert FX and 3 Master FX. The final mastering effects are applied as the last step to the keyboard's audio outputs, resulting in a controlled and dynamic sound. This is the result of KORG's long-term collaboration with Waves MaxxAudio®, the global reference for studio mastering effects.
Microphone and Guitar Input with independent effects
Pa5X ORIENTAL-76 features independent inputs for simultaneous connection of a microphone and a guitar, each with a complete effects chain. The microphone input is equipped with a state-of-the-art vocal harmonization system, the result of KORG's collaboration with Shift Audio, a company with 30 years of experience in vocal processing, which has enabled the implementation of complex algorithms on Pa5X ORIENTAL-76 that generate highly realistic 4-voice harmonies, giving the feeling of being backed by a real group of vocalists. The Auto Pitch function, which has become a must for many genres of modern music, is also present. The separate guitar input is completely independent and also has its own gain control, and a chain that can be composed of up to 4 FX dedicated to this instrument, including vintage stomp boxes and amplifier simulators, with a complete library of ready-to-use and, of course, user-programmable Presets. It is possible to assign a vocal preset and a guitar preset to each SongBook Entry, for a quick and easy musical performance.

You can use MIDI and USB ports to connect controllers or storage devices, HDMI for an external display, XLR, jack and mini-jack audio connectors for other keyboards, condenser and dynamic microphones, guitars and basses, smartphones and tablets, or to connect the instrument to powered speakers or PA systems via the balanced outputs. Four separate line outputs are available for independent sound management.
