The Alto Sax 6 mouthpiece is made of ebonite and has an opening of 2.29 mm. Otto Link mouthpieces, whether ebonite or metal, are the choice of many jazz musicians, thanks to a larger-than-standard resonance chamber, for a full sound and unparalleled projection.

Otto Link mouthpieces include a plastic protective cap and a double-screw metal ligature that ensures a perfect grip of the saxophone on the mouthpiece. 24-karat gold-plated metal mouthpieces, however, come with a single-screw ligature. The ligature clamps a plate positioned near the heel of the reed, which exerts pressure at four points, thus offering greater ease of vibration.

During the production phase, the use of millimeter-calibrated precision machinery allows Otto Link to offer every musician a finely crafted mouthpiece. Manual polishing by the company's most qualified employees completes these products, whose reputation is well established.
