For a child proficient in recorder performance, the Toot is the perfect next step for approaching the transverse flute. The set includes the Firstnote mouthpiece which can be used in the first lessons while the student is learning posture, fingering, and playing simple melodies. At that point, the Firstnote can be replaced with the regular mouthpiece to allow for learning standard flute technique. Includes mouthpieces, a zippered case, and a fingering chart.
