Authentic tube sound

Nutube is a revolutionary new analog vacuum tube developed by KORG INC. in collaboration with Noritake Itron Corporation. Like conventional vacuum tubes, Nutube is constructed with an anode, grid, and cathode and operates exactly like a complete triode tube, effectively generating the same response and characteristic harmonic richness. All of this with a considerably smaller footprint and greater energy efficiency.

Wide range of sounds

The OD-S has two GAIN potentiometers. In addition to adjusting the input level to the valve (GAIN), you can vary the anode load of the tube amplification circuit using the TUBE GAIN potentiometer. This allows you to accurately adjust the sound processed by the valve to your liking. The Korg Nu:Tekt OD-S also features a switch for selecting two different types of overdrive (LOW and HIGH range) along with a True Bypass. A perfect pedal for your live performances. For the advanced user who wants to further modify their sound, the layout, which lends itself to extremely easy customization, allows for the replacement of discrete components to create a unique pedal that fully reflects your sonic needs.
