Nektar SE25 is a fantastic tool for a portable music production setup.

The smallest MIDI controller in Nektar's production (its width is similar to a laptop) packs everything you need to create music anywhere: 25 mini keys (but with excellent mechanics), 6 button controls, and Nektar DAW Integration...SE25 is more powerful than it might seem at first glance.

The keys are the most important part of a keyboard/MIDI controller: they must transfer your musical ideas and performance to the computer.

Since SE25 is designed to be easily carried, even in a small backpack, its design does not allow for standard-sized keys. However, a keyboard must guarantee excellent playability, which is why Nektar has expressly designed and created a new mechanism with velocity-sensitive mini keys.

Despite its small size, with SE25 you have a keyboard that perfectly captures the expressiveness of your performance and the feel of your touch.

As if that weren't enough, there are also 3 different velocity response curves available to easily adapt SE25 to your style.

REAL-TIME CONTROLS

Pitch Bend, Modulation, and Sustain are fundamental functions for the expressiveness of your performances, and for this reason, Nektar has found a way to resize these controls and place them within easy reach.

Work faster and with great ease! Put aside your mouse or trackpad and control transport functions and track selection directly with SE25 in your DAW.

READY TO GO – BITWIG 8-TRACK INCLUDED

You can connect the keyboard and start producing, playing, and creating new sounds immediately, thanks to the Bitwig 8-Track DAW that comes with SE25.

Over 50 software instruments and effects that you can use on 8 audio or MIDI tracks... and you can also use any compatible VST plug-in you own.

And to get you started even easier, the package includes the 'Bitwig Essentials Package', an excellent selection of loops, clips, and samples.

The perfect combination with Nektar DAW Integration allows you to manage track selection and transport controls directly from SE25.

If you are just starting with computer music, you will have the perfect setup to take your first steps, while if you are already more experienced in this field, you will be amazed by the potential of this combination!

By simultaneously pressing the Play and Rewind buttons, you activate transport mode, and the exclusive features of NEKTAR DAW Integration allow you to manage your DAW!

Nektar DAW Integration for SE25 is currently compatible with Bitwig, Cubase, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Reason, Reaper, Sonar, and Studio One.

To use Nektar DAW Integration, you need to register SE25 on nektartech.com and download the necessary files for your setup.

The 6 buttons to the left of the keyboard are configured for octave shifts, transposition, and sustain. Don't need transposition? You can assign the Transpose button to Pitch Bend, MIDI Volume, Pan, Track*, or Patch* change (*= requires Nektar DAW Integration).

And the "S" Sustain button can also be used to control modulation.
