G7th Nashville Classical Silver Capo

  • Spring-loaded capo for classical guitar
  •
  • Silver finish
  •
  • Carefully and meticulously designed, the G7th Nashville capo is lightweight and precise
  •
  • The pivot point closer to the guitar neck makes it more practical and faster to use compared to other spring-loaded capos
  •
  • The classic and iconic Silver finish pairs beautifully with any instrument

Fewer Tuning Issues
The G7th Nashville capo always applies the right amount of tension to the strings, so you spend less time retuning and more time playing.

Respects the Sound and Protects the Neck
The enveloping design of the silicone rubber and bar eliminates sound degradation and prevents direct and unwanted contact between metal and wood on the guitar neck.

Faster and Easier to Use
With the spring pivot point closer to the guitar neck, the G7th Nashville capo is faster and easier to use than other spring-loaded capos.

Always Within Reach
And it looks great even when clamped to the headstock when not in use.

Can I use the same G7th capo on both acoustic and electric guitars?
Yes, you can use any of our steel string 6 String capos on both acoustic and electric guitars.

Are G7th capos for acoustic and electric guitars also suitable for classical guitars?
The vast majority of classical guitars have a flat, wide fretboard that requires a specific capo.
G7th produces a dedicated classical guitar capo in each of its series.

How do I attach a replacement rubber pad to my G7th capo?
First, make sure you have removed any excess glue and rubber from the capo.
Then simply attach the new one in place using a cyanoacrylate-based super glue.

What is the best solution for a 12-string guitar?
For almost all 12-string guitars, we recommend the Newport 12-string capo or the Heritage 12-string capo, both featuring our brand new compensated pad.

Can you make a single custom capo?
Sorry, unfortunately, it's not possible.
The tooling costs to produce each model amount to tens of thousands of dollars, making them suitable only for mass production.

My guitar has a nitrocellulose finish: can I use a G7th capo without damaging it?
A nitrocellulose finish is usually quite durable.
However, the danger can arise when nitrocellulose comes into contact with additives or chemicals that may be used in the processing of rubber components.
Small residues of these substances over time could soften and mark the finish.
For our capos, we use high-quality silicone rubber, and all components are always cleaned before assembly and packaging.
Therefore, we do not expect you to have any problems with the rubber components used on our capos.
We still advise you not to leave the capo on the guitar when not in use.
It's not good for the guitar, nor is it good for the capo.

Where are G7th capos manufactured?
All our capos are manufactured to the highest quality in our factories in China.
We have long-standing relationships with our manufacturers and visit them regularly.
Have you ever wondered why there are no cheap copies of Performance capos?
Because our clutch mechanism is extremely difficult to replicate, and no one has succeeded in copying it.
This testifies to our production standards and level of quality.

Is my G7th capo covered by a manufacturer's warranty?
Yes, a lifetime warranty.
