Mxr Csp104 Vintage Distortion+ Effect Pedal


The CSP104 Vintage Distortion guitar distortion pedal by MXR, built by Jim Dunlop's Custom Shop in a limited edition of 142 pieces for the Italian market, is designed to faithfully reproduce the specifications of the original 1970s Distortion Plus.


By adjusting the Distortion knob and adjusting the Output accordingly, with the CSP104 Vintage Distortion, you'll be immediately transported into the sound of Clapton, Iommi, Angus Young, Page, and Ritchie Blackmore.



Jim Dunlop's Custom Shop designed the CSP104 using selected components to completely reproduce the historic Distortion Plus. As for the potentiometers, the CSP104 features two CTS, the leading company in the design and production of sliding, robust, reliable, and high-quality pots for over 85 years.


The 6.35 mm jack input and output, from Switchcraft, include the experience of a company specialized in the production of connectors for the Pro-Audio and Broadcast industries since 1946.


Carling, on the other hand, is the world's leading company for the production of circuit breakers, switches, power distribution units, digital switching systems, and electronic controls.

The footswitch mounted on the CSP104 is from Carling. The germanium circuit is essential for a faithful reproduction of the classic vintage 70s tone and the emulation of a tube amplifier's crunch tone.


Entirely hand-wired, the CSP104 Vintage Distortion features the classic aluminum chassis in a mustard yellow finish like the original Distortion Plus.
