MPK Mini Plus: maximum expressiveness with minimum bulk

The 37 keys of the keyboard use the new second-generation Dynamic Keybed. 3 full octaves allow for two-handed playing, making it possible to compose chords, articulate arpeggios, play synth solos, and richer pads. The keyboard offers excellent playability and a wider dynamic response (velocity sensitivity). In the MPK Mini Plus, dedicated controls have been added to manage those essential parameters for better expressiveness, such as the wheels for Pitch Bend and Modulation, as well as the iconic Joystick Controller typical of the MPKmini series. A sustain pedal input is also present.

DAW MPC Beats and MPK mini Plus Editor

The MPC Beats DAW software for Mac and PC, provided free of charge (via download), offers the iconic workflow of the historic MPC series directly on your desktop or laptop and includes thousands of sounds including drum samples, loops, and plugin instruments to create your music productions. MPK mini Plus Editor is the software that allows you to program in detail the MIDI messages transmitted by the various physical controls of the keyboard and the two tracks of the integrated sequencer, the Key and the Drum. The very simple and intuitive interface allows for the import and export of configurations to and from the keyboard.

IMPORTANT:
AKAI Professional MPK mini PLUS is a controller that generates and sends MIDI messages via USB to control software, applications, or musical hardware compatible with the universal MIDI standard. It does not have internal sounds and functions exclusively by sending control messages that will be translated by your software or musical hardware into sound, which will then exit through your audio interface on your computer or through the audio outputs of your synthesizer. The instrument therefore does not have an audio output.
