The second generation keybed used in the AKAI Professional MPKmini MKIII ensures excellent touch response, both in terms of dynamics (velocity) and playability. Not only for synth parts, but also when playing virtual piano instruments you will notice a significant improvement in articulation response compared to previous models and other small MIDI keyboards on the market.

For beginners, MPKmini is not just a controller, but a complete package of software, virtual plug-in instruments, and quality sounds to start producing music immediately. For professionals, the MPK mini offers important functions in an extremely small footprint, thanks to the complete customization that can be done within the software editor for all MIDI messages generated by striking the pads and rotating the potentiometers.

Finger drumming enthusiasts will find the 8 velocity- and pressure-sensitive backlit pads, derived from the iconic MPC series, to be indispensable allies for performances. Music producers, live performers, DJs, and VJs can use the various banks on which the 8 Pads are arranged, configurable by simply pressing a button in NOTE mode, to transmit MIDI note messages, CC mode, to send Control Change messages, or Prog Change mode, for Program Change messages. The messages generated by pressing are entirely customizable in detail by the user within the software editor (downloadable from akaipro.com), which allows us to send up to 8 different recallable preset configurations to the internal hardware memory by simultaneously pressing the "SELECT" button along with one of the 8 Pads.

THE MPKMINI'S 360° ENCODERS
The third generation of MIDI USB controller MPK mini is equipped with 360° rotary potentiometers, to control the parameters of your virtual instruments, DAW software, and all applications that support MIDI Learn mapping (refer to your software's manual). In addition, these controls allow you to modify the values of the arpeggiator parameters and the built-in Note Repeat function: simply hold down one of the "Arpeggiator On/Off" or "Note Repeat" buttons while rotating the potentiometers. The silk screen printing under the knobs indicates the parameter you will be controlling for the aforementioned integrated functions.

THE MPKMINI'S OLED DISPLAY
Compared to previous models, Akai Professional has introduced an extremely intelligible OLED display in this generation of mini USB MIDI master keyboards, to always have an eye on the value of the parameters you are controlling and to allow you to make settings that were not possible directly in the hardware in previous models.

IMPORTANT:
AKAI Professional MPKmini is a MIDI controller that generates and sends MIDI messages useful for controlling software, applications, or musical hardware compatible with the universal MIDI standard. They do not have internal sounds and function exclusively by sending control messages that will be translated by your music software into sound, which will then output from your audio interface. The keyboard therefore does not have an audio output.

The software included and/or available via download is provided free of charge and does not include technical or commercial support. AKAI Professional and the Italian distributor Algam EKO are solely responsible for the hardware instrument (keyboard) they produce and distribute and cannot provide support for the software.

NB: The use of authorization codes, i.e. the download and activation of the software provided free of charge, voids the right of withdrawal.
