EFFECTS IN THE MPC KEY 37

In your MPC Key 37, you will find over 100 studio-quality effects and plug-in processors, which will be useful for creative music production, as well as for mixing and mastering. Load Reverb & Delay effects as inserts or sends in your projects, add more punch to your drums, and mix using compressors and limiters with a range of styles from modern to vintage. AKAI MPC Key 37 is also supplied with state-of-the-art vocal effects plugins, which can be used for both "cleaner" pop vocals and creative sound design contexts.

THE CONTROL SURFACE IN THE MPC KEY 37

The MPC Key 37 features a velocity-sensitive synth-action keyboard with aftertouch alongside pitch bend and modulation wheels. The synth-style keybed action has been designed with musicians and producers in mind, with a response that allows playing bass lines, synth lead parts, capable of satisfying even keyboardists who play organs, electric or acoustic pianos in pop contexts. The 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads are the same as the MPC One+ with their renowned MPC Time Correct, Swing, and Quantize functions that continue to inspire chart-topping producers. Adjustment and editing are done via the convenient and intelligible 7” multi-touch display and the 4 360° Q Link rotary potentiometers: precise control and quick access to the parameters you need.

THE AKAI MPC KEY 37 AND DAW SOFTWARE

AKAI Professional MPC Key 37 features an integrated 2 In, 2 Out USB audio/MIDI interface, for recording audio and MIDI directly with your PC or Mac computer. The included MPC 2 software is a DAW, which leverages all the tactility and control of the hardware, but with virtually infinite tracks: as many as your computer can handle. The MPC2 software will also be found as a VST/AU plug-in for major DAWs such as FL Studio, Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools, Studio One, and others.
