Equipped with the renowned ESS Sabre32™ converter, the MOTU 624 delivers the same superb analog quality as the multi-award-winning MOTU 1248, providing everything you need to transform your computer into a powerful 24-bit/192 kHz audio workstation.

The 624 connects to any computer or iPad with Thunderbolt output, high-speed USB 3.0, AVB Ethernet, or USB class-compliant firmware. New optimized MOTU drivers work best with all your favorite apps, ensuring the market's best, ultra-low latency (RTL), up to 1.6 ms at 96 kHz via Thunderbolt output with high-performance DAWs.

Built in a solid and compact case, you can take it anywhere, the 624 provides 8 analog I/O channels, including two XLR microphone inputs with separate preamps, two dedicated front-panel hi-Z guitar pickups, plus dedicated main outs and a headphone output with a front-panel jack. All combined with ADAT optical digital I/O, for a total of 32 simultaneous audio channels.

Connect all your studio gear, including microphones, guitars, synths, keyboards, drum machines, and effects processors. Record, monitor, process, and let the signal flow from all inputs without latency and without overloading your computer. Improved routing capabilities allow you to convert inputs to outputs, or re-route inputs to multiple destinations.

The powerful DSP provides a 48-channel mixing console, 12 stereo busses, and 32-bit floating-point effects processing. Add Classic Reverb with lengths up to 60 seconds. And further sculpt your sound with a 4-band parametric EQ, modeled after British-style console EQs. Choose between two types of compression: conventional compressor and Leveler, an accurate reproduction of the legendary LA 2A, an optical compressor that ensures vintage-style gain control.

After recording and mixing in the studio, disconnect the 624 from your computer and take it to the stage to use it live as a mixer with effects in standalone mode. Control everything with Wi-Fi through your favorite web browser on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Through AVB/TSN Ethernet, connect another MOTU AVB interface for additional I/O, or connect to an expanded MOTU AVB network with multiple interfaces or computers.
