Moog Theremini

The Theremini is the new version developed by Moog Music of the Theremin, the first electronic musical instrument in history.

This re-interpretation includes the implementation of new advanced features that make this instrument accessible to everyone, which until now was certainly not among the easiest to play. The Theremini allows you to play every note in a single discrete musical scale, and not in a continuous space as with the original model, thanks to total control over the intonation that can be adjusted and deactivated.

The ability to control the pitch also becomes very useful for educational purposes for those approaching this type of instrument for the first time. The integrated preset section allows you to select from 32 wavetable synthesis sounds, store and save a selected scale, set or recall a selected range of notes for performance, and specify settings for patches for the included stereo delay. On the back of the instrument, which features a particular futuristic design, there is also a speaker that makes the Theremini perfectly autonomous.

There are also two audio line outputs, a CV pitch output with selectable range, and a mini USB port for MIDI connectivity.
