Combining the typical playability of an analog instrument with an unprecedented range of sound options, Moog's Etherwave Theremin offers an accurate five-octave range with extremely balanced note spacing. The most advanced and updated analog electronic components have been used to create Bob Moog's classic theremin circuit, further improving performance, especially in the low-frequency range. The hand-finished wooden cabinet integrates the two traditional brass-plated antennas, as well as the input and output connections, all located on the rear panel. The microphone stand adapter ensures quick setup. Easily accessible front panel controls allow for quick timbral variations, and antenna calibration can be performed simply and immediately. The I/O setup is completed by a front panel headphone output with volume control and a convenient Mute button. The Etherwave Theremin naturally has all the features and functionalities of a normal Theremin, with the added ability to be used as a standalone CV controller to control external synthesizers and effects. The control signals from the CV outputs are proportional to the pitch and volume of the Theremin's audio signal, and the Etherwave Theremin can be connected to the pitch or volume CV inputs of a Subsequent 37 or other analog synths for a completely new way to play the synthesizer or effects.
