Since then, microKORG has been one of the most popular and widespread instruments in the hands of musicians and now receives a substantial update; microKORG S is now equipped with an internal amplification system with 2+1 highly efficient speakers despite its size; an elegant white cabinet, and new, modern and attractive Presets.

the internal amplification system of microKORG S

Inside the compact body of microKORG S there is an amplification system designed and built with great care. This system consists of a pair of high-quality stereo speakers and a woofer capable of reproducing a surprising amount of low frequencies relative to its size. The system is enclosed in a specially designed "Box" that allows for natural sound reinforcement, achieving a total sound level that significantly exceeds the quality and volume of the speakers and the instrument itself. Furthermore, the speakers housed inside the instrument transmit their vibrations to the performer, who, when playing, receives tactile feedback, quite similar to that generated by an acoustic instrument or an electric piano. In this way, the built-in amplification combined with the possibility of battery operation allows microKORG S to be used in virtually any operating condition.

Increased memory, new Programs, added new User Program locations

Compared to the original microKORG S, the memory capacity has been significantly increased. 64 new Preset Programs have been added, able to satisfy the tastes of the most recent music scene, with defined and incisive Lead sounds, rich electric pianos, powerful and full-bodied basses; simple, effective, and very present sounds at the same time. In addition, 64 locations for User Programs have been added, for sounds created or modified for personal needs, now it is possible to save them in the internal memory without necessarily overwriting the Presets. This encourages the ideal creative process of this instrument: select a sound you like and modify it at will!

Favorite Function

The new Favorite function allows you to assign and instantly recall up to 8 of your preferred or most frequently used Programs. A great operational advantage that significantly simplifies live performances.

Now the new microKORG S, while possessing an internal amplification system, fully reflects the compact and slim lines of the original model, to which is added the elegant white finish, and the maple wood side panels that give the instrument an additional refined and professional touch.
