Description

The MIA A400e is Eko Guitars' electrified acoustic guitar, amplified with the Fishman Flex Blend system. It features an Auditorium body shape with a Solid Cedar top, 3-ply laminated Ovangkol back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a Rosewood fretboard. Ideal for guitarists who perform live and in recording studios.

OVERVIEW OF THE EKO GUITARS MIA A400e

The MIA A400e comes in Natural color with a Gloss finish and an Auditorium body shape. The combination of Solid Cedar on the top and Ovangkol on the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very wide and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on every single string. A very important feature is the presence of a high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the ability to gradually add the signal picked up by the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), and increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of bass and treble, very convenient for obtaining a sound already "ready" for the mix. If the guitar should have feedback problems, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. The combination of all these features makes the MIA A400e a suitable instrument for professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage.
