Known as Africa's highest peak, the Kilimanjaro was designed and improved step by step with Richard Bona, until reaching the final result that satisfied 100% Richard, Marco and all the bass players who had the chance to try the first samples we made. We are truly proud of this amazing instrument, a bass built for lutherie that embodies all our passion and experience.

Our attitude to explore new solutions led us to select native woods such as Val di Fiemme Spruce, used for centuries by master luthiers to produce classical bowed instruments thanks to its elasticity and unique resonance, and to combine it with a beautiful soundboard in Abruzzese Olive

ELECTRONICS

All of Marco and Markbass' experience in bass TONE has been condensed into this exceptional electronic circuit, simple, intuitive and effective even with extreme settings. The controls are VOLUME/VOLUME/TONE (with an active/passive switch on Tone) allowing for incredible pickup blending capabilities compared to a normal Blend control and with active BASS/MID/TREBLE... so you won't have boomy lows or harsh highs. The frequency values have been chosen to offer a wide range of tones that you can use with any setting. The TONE control (also working in passive mode) has been defined by Richard as the "G-spot" for its accurate effectiveness that allows you to go from soft and warm tones to bright and hi-fi ones, all in a unique "sensual" way.
