Markbass MB Instrument Pre P

It features the same controls and additional wiring found on our Markbass instruments. The VOLUME / VOLUME / TONE potentiometers are clearly the best choice for managing two pickup configurations, and the push/pull TONE pot allows players to quickly switch from Jaco or Motown sounds to more modern and open timbres, even in passive mode. In active mode, the BASS / MIDDLE / HIGH potentiometers of the 3-band EQ section enhance your instrument's character by adding rich, modern responses when boosting or cutting selected frequencies, delivering a balanced and defined sound even at extreme settings.

Active/Passive Mode

Volume level variations when switching from active to passive mode and vice versa are almost imperceptible: a unique feature of the exceptional internal circuit that all musicians will appreciate.
