The Balanced string series was developed in collaboration with top Markbass artist Paolo "Pi" Costa to offer a set with the best balance between strings and sound.

A magical blend was created by mixing the bright, harmonically rich sound of stainless steel with the warm, deep sound of nickel. In fact, these multi-wound strings have an outer wrap of nickel-plated steel, covering an inner layer of stainless steel.

As one of Italy's most in-demand musicians, Paolo is known for being a perfectionist and for his high standards.

Many tests and studio recordings were carried out with him to meet those exact standards, delivering a super balanced sound to bring studio perfection to live performances.
