OVERVIEW OF THE EKO GUITARS MARCO POLO B500e MM

The Marco Polo B500e MM comes in Natural color with an Open Pore finish and a Travel shape, ideal for musicians to carry comfortably anywhere. The entire Marco Polo series is All Solid, meaning the top, back, and sides are made of solid wood, enhancing the wood's natural characteristics for a particularly specific tonal quality. The combination of Solid Mahogany for the top and Solid Mahogany for the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very broad and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on each individual string. A very important feature is the presence of a high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: consisting of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the bass thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal from the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of bass and treble. If the bass experiences feedback issues, a common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. The combination of all these features makes the Marco Polo B500e MM an instrument suitable for professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage.
