The entire Marco Polo series is All Solid, meaning that with a solid top, back, and sides, the nature of the wood is enhanced to create a particularly specific timbre. The combination of Solid Mahogany on the top and Solid Mahogany on the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very wide tonal spectrum that is always well-balanced on each individual string. A decidedly important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: composed of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows every nuance of the guitar to be captured thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal picked up by the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the Output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when at its minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), as it is increased, the mid frequencies are gradually reduced in favor of lows and highs, very convenient for obtaining a sound that is already "ready" for the mix. If the guitar experiences feedback issues, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer.
