Description

The Forest Green Compressor (FGC) is designed to meet the highest standards of guitar and bass compression. There is extremely low noise throughout the range and a high headroom, also allowing a wide dynamic input range with minimum distortion and noise.The FGC features a special tone control to fine tune the compressed sound for a more transparent tone and effect. The pedal has a switchable compressor and a sustainer mode. In Sustain mode, you can get a very dynamic and touch-sensitive tone with long sustain. Here the attack is not lost, making the pedal also suitable for blues players and working great with slide.Controls:LEVEL: In Compressor mode, it adjusts the overall volume and the FGC can also be used as a booster. In Sustain mode, the level no longer adjusts the total output but the level of the sustained part.COMPR: Sets the amount of compression and sustain. Lower settings primarily provide peak limiting, higher settings more compression and a less touch-sensitive response. At maximum, the output will be heavily compressed, while maintaining clarity at near infinite sustain. TONE: The tone control on the FGC is designed to fine tune the compressed sound for a more transparent tone and effect: adjust counter-clockwise for full range compression, set to noon for a tighter sound with a bit less bass, and turn fully clockwise to slightly reduce treble.COMPRESSOR/SUSTAIN SWITCH: The attack and decay times are carefully tuned and set internally for a fast attack and slow decay. With the switch set to Sustain, the attack is preserved allowing for dynamic touch and ease of playing as the FGC amplifies decay and weaker parts.
