Large, easy-to-read display

MA-2 BKRD uses a large display with significantly improved visibility. Within the display, a digital needle provides visual indication of the beat by moving left and right, accompanied by an appropriate sound signal, while a triangular icon displays the exact position of the beat and the moment of beat change.

MA-2 BKRD has a newly designed, more powerful electronic buzzer that provides an easily audible and always noticeable sound even in critical listening conditions such as among loud instruments or noise.

MA-2 BKRD meets all needs for rhythmic practice

You can choose from 3 different tempo setting methods:

    
• Pendulum Step allows you to enter a numerical value just like in a mechanical metronome.
    
• Full Step: allows you to set the tempo speed in single unit increments.
    
• Tap Tempo allows you to set the tempo speed by tapping a button in time with the song to be played.

It is also possible to obtain different metric subdivisions of the tempo by combining Beat values from 0 to 9, with 8 rhythm types, thus making it possible to practice in a wide variety of musical styles and genres.

Timer Mode and Sound Out Mode for daily practice

In addition to the basic metronome functions, MA-2 BKRD can also operate in:  Timer and Sound Out Mode which are particularly useful for daily practice. These two modes can be selected via a dedicated MODE button.

The Timer Mode of MA-2 BKRD

After the set time has elapsed, an alarm sounds and the metronome stops. It can be adjusted in 1-minute increments with values ranging from 1 minute up to 120 minutes, making it ideal for warm-up or basic practice.

The Sound Out Mode of MA-2 BKRD

A reference tone is emitted from the built-in speaker as a tuning guide. This tone can be set within an octave, between C4 and B4. The reference frequency of A440 Hz (tuning fork) can be adjusted (calibration), in 1 Hz increments within the range of 410 Hz to 480 Hz.

Renewed design and functions of MA-2 BKRD

The foldable stand allows the metronome to stand in an easily visible position. The sliding battery cover is designed to be integral with the main unit, thus avoiding the danger of it being lost during battery replacement.

Up to 400 hours of continuous use

MA-2 BKRD has an operating autonomy of approximately 400 hours, using alkaline batteries. A dedicated indicator on the display shows their remaining charge until they need to be replaced. This guarantees long practice and performance sessions without stress, allowing you to concentrate exclusively on your performance.

The tempo, rhythm, and Beat settings of the metronome section, as well as the calibration and reference signal of the Sound Out mode, are memorized even when the instrument is turned off. However, these return to their initial values when the batteries are replaced.

The Auto Power-Off function automatically turns off the unit after 20 minutes of inactivity.
