<h1 style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>M81 Bass Preamp</strong> is <strong>MXR</strong>'s <strong>bass preamp</strong>, featuring a studio-quality <strong>Direct Out</strong> that allows you to tailor your sound to any live or recording scenario.</h1><h2>OVERVIEW OF THE MXR M81 BASS PREAMP</h2><p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>MXR M81 Bass Preamp</strong> combines a transparent preamp with a studio-quality <strong>Direct Out</strong> in a Phase-90 sized enclosure, delivering a clean tone without taking up too much pedalboard space. It features <strong>Input</strong> and <strong>Output</strong> level controls and a 3-band EQ section with adjustable mids from 250 Hz to 1 kHz. Everything is reproduced cleanly thanks to the high headroom provided by <strong>Constant Headroom Technology&trade;</strong>, and with the <strong>PRE/POST EQ</strong> switch, you can choose whether the direct output is affected by the pedal's EQ. Finally, it features a <strong>Ground Lift</strong> switch in case of hum caused by a ground loop.
