M77 Custom Badass Modified O.D. is the overdrive pedal from MXR featuring a classic overdrive circuit with the addition of a 100HZ control and a Bump switch that give it greater versatility.

The MXR M77 Custom Badass Modified O.D. features a classic overdrive circuit with modern modifications to improve its performance and versatility. A 100HZ control has been added, allowing for a more precise sound by cutting these frequencies or a more massive sound by increasing them. The Bump switch activates an alternative equalization that boosts lows and mids. When placed in front of the MXR '78 Custom Badass Distortion, it's possible to achieve a gain structure similar to an amplifier, while maintaining the faithful sound of your guitar.

CONTROLS OF THE MXR M77 CUSTOM BADASS MODIFIED O.D.

Tone: adjusts the overall EQ of the distortion;
100HZ: cuts or boosts frequencies at 100 Hz;
Bump: boosts lows and mids (blue LED when active);
Output: adjusts the overall volume of the effect;
Gain: controls the amount of overdrive.
