The Super Badass Dynamic O.D. from MXR is a versatile pedal that, thanks to its MOSFET clipping diodes, is capable of delivering both boost tones and vintage high-gain overdrive. The classic Output, Tone, and Gain controls make it easy to find the right sound for your needs, while the Boost/Cut switch allows you to increase the overall level with more midrange or decrease it. Although it already has a rich sound on its own, this pedal is great for increasing the distortion of a tube amplifier.
