Description

The RBO-20 pedal is the "point-to-point" handmade version of the Rupert Bass, built on a Fish Paper circuit board. The RBO-20 is a preamp/overdrive pedal for bass and synth bass, featuring multi-stage FET with germanium diodes, and true bypass. It has a tone control and a volume control, and is powered by 9v. The RBO-20 is a preamp overdrive with a very warm sound. It is a pedal with a great dynamic response that can easily go from warm, semi-clean sounds to 60s/70s arena rock crunch sounds. The surprising thing about the Rupert is that it provides the touch-sensitive dynamic response of a vintage tube amp. It makes even the sound of a small bass amp massive.
