With this outboard gear, Looptrotter has managed to achieve the distinctive sound of tubes using semiconductor technology. The Sa2Rate is a 2-channel processor, each with only 2 potentiometers: DRIVE (saturation intensity) and OUTPUT (output level). The saturation intensity (the amount of added harmonics) is indicated by 2 LEDs, at 4 and 8 THD (total harmonic distortion). Maximum ease of use for an extremely effective processor. Sa2Rate also functions as an analog soft limiter, producing full sounds during recording or mixing.Looptrotter Audio Engineering is a brand new company based in Poland, founded by Andrzej Starzyk.
