After years of research and design, American Cut was born, the most advanced reed Légère has ever produced. This long testing process was conducted for one purpose: to create a jazz reed that offers total freedom of play while maintaining the reliability for which Légère reeds have become famous. American Cut is different from other synthetic reeds on the market: by touching it, you can feel a progressive rise towards the center, which allows the edges to vibrate freely.
