Performance control

Software Components

Components is a management hub for Novation products, where you can access new sound packs, manage sound content, customize your device, and stay updated with the latest firmware. Utilize the Drums and Keys modes to play your instruments.

Logic Pro and Live Loops

Live Loops in Logic Pro allows cell-based loops to be played and performed. By using the Launchpad Mini MkIII as a Live Loops controller, you can utilize cells to develop ideas and record them. Setup is automatic: simply select the Launchpad in Logic's Control Surface Setup window. Logic settings provide orientation options that allow you to choose vertical or rotated arrangement, depending on your preferences (from Logic Pro 10.6 onwards).

Custom Mode (from Firmware 2.0)

Firmware version 2.0 and Novation Components 1.32 introduce the exciting Custom Mode widget. You can maintain creativity while making music by assigning essential DAW shortcuts to the Launchpad grid via Novation Components software, for a faster and more intuitive workflow.
