Novation LAUNCHKEY MINI MKIII is an ultra-compact 25-mini-key keyboard designed for use with popular DAW software thanks to full HUI protocol support. It features an arpeggiator, Fixed Chord mode, Capture MIDI function, 2 touch strips, 16 RGB pads, 8 rotary potentiometers, transport controls, and MIDI output.

Launchkey Mini's Arpeggiator

With Launchkey Mini's powerful arpeggiator, you can create new melodies, rhythms, and sounds with extreme ease. Fixed Chord mode helps develop your ideas, offering the possibility to add customizable fixed chords that follow your keyboard playing. Additionally, you can enrich your compositions with dynamic and expressive rhythms thanks to the 16 highly sensitive pads, useful for both drumming and launching clips.

Excellent integration with Ableton Live

Launchkey Mini's intuitive integration with Live allows for quick use and freedom of expression. The device's transport and mixer controls reduce mouse usage. Launchkey Mini puts sound control directly in your hands with more direct mixer and macro controls.

Compatibility with the most popular DAWs

Novation Launchkey Mini includes all the necessary elements for track creation, including sounds, instruments, and effects from AAS, Softube, Spitfire Audio, XLN Audio, and Klevgrand. You can enjoy all this content through the included copy of Ableton Live Lite or integrate Launchkey Mini with Logic, Reason, or any HUI-compatible DAW.

Great features in a small device

Launchkey Mini features a new key mechanism on the mini keys, the most refined to date, extremely pleasant to play. The two touch strips for pitch and mod allow for great freedom of expression of the sounds used. The 16 RGB pads are extremely sensitive, allowing for precise, dynamic, and nuanced finger drumming. By connecting a sustain pedal, you can add even more expressiveness to your performance. 

Software Components 

Components is a Novation product management hub; you can access new sound packs, manage sound content, customize your device, and stay updated with the latest firmware.

Firmware update 1.1

Firmware update v1.1 introduces the Strum Mode function. You can hold down notes and activate Strum mode using the Launchkey Mini MkIII's mod wheel. Strum mode can be used in conjunction with other arpeggiator modes to increase creativity.

Further developments in firmware v1.1 include pad brightness adjustment and MIDI clock output, as well as double-tap control of the Shift, Arp, Transpose, and fixed chord buttons for single-handed use.
