Rhythm playback and customization

KR-11 is extremely easy to use! Just choose your favorite genre and press Play. Each genre includes 14 variations for a total of 126 distinct patterns, plus 14 dedicated Slots where users can easily save their personal patterns. KR-11 is light and compact and can be battery-powered. The built-in speaker allows you to listen to it virtually anywhere. In addition to fundamental 8- and 16-beat patterns, KR-11 offers specific styles such as ''Blues/R&B'' and ''Country'' ideal for guitarists, and ''Island'' for ukulele. In addition to three-beat patterns, KR-11 also offers more complex five- and seven-beat patterns. The Swing function gradually modifies the execution of each Pattern, expanding the versatility and range of possible variations. KR-11 also includes a metronome for basic exercises, making it an indispensable tool for many musicians of all levels.

Foot control

On KR-11, it is possible to connect an optional foot switch that facilitates Start/Stop operations, Pattern changes, and fill-ins in pattern play mode, allowing you to control KR-11 hands-free. In Pad Play mode, the foot switch allows you to play any drum sound for a more authentic performance (kick and hi-hat are factory pre-assigned). KR-11 also includes a headphone/line-out jack, which allows it to be connected to a PA, mixer, amplifier, or other devices.

Finger Drumming

The unit's 16 pads are assigned drum sounds such as bass drum, snare, hi-hat, and cymbals, which can also be used for finger drumming. The pads are velocity-sensitive and respond appropriately to the force of finger strokes on the pads, thus allowing the creation of more realistic drum patterns. It is also possible to save personal performances in the User bank and play them back later when needed. Thanks to its compact structure, battery power, and integrated speakers, KR-11 can be used without problems for street performances, outdoors, or in any other location.

Newly designed speakers

KR-11 features a newly designed compact yet powerful speaker system that offers a wide frequency response and natural resonance. In addition, Acoustage Bass (*) technology helps reproduce the deep bass sound of the drums.

(*) What is Acoustage Bass? KORG's proprietary Acoustage technology virtually increases the bass range, allowing for a pleasant listening experience in this frequency range even with small speakers.
