When tuning in an orchestra, clarinetists always face the challenge of achieving the desired tuning from the conductor. The combination of personal embouchure, reed, ligature and mouthpiece only allows for limited adjustment. The JUPITER INTONICATM barrel offers three different basic lengths (63, 65, 67 mm), which greatly improve proper tuning and open up more possibilities as a basis for tuning.
