Edison is a small power module that allows you to convert any DC voltage (from 9 to 30VDC with center negative polarity) into a different value, selectable between 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24VDC; it is also possible to reverse the polarity to obtain voltages with center positive polarity.

Voltage and polarity selection is done via two small buttons and is indicated by the lighting of the respective reference LEDs. Both buttons are slightly recessed into the casing, so you will need to use a pencil/pen or any other pointed object to change the settings.

Edison not only converts voltage but is also a true voltage cleaner: it contains a circuit that rectifies, stabilizes, and refines the output voltage, ensuring that your pedals always receive perfect power.

The module can supply up to 1500 mA of current, but this capacity will depend on the power of your input power supply: for example, if we use a power supply with 500mA @ 9vdc as input and want to obtain 18vdc, we will have an output of

0.5A x 9vdc = 4.5 Watts

4.5 Watts / 18vdc = 0.25A, i.e., 250mA @ 18vdc
