Boasting innovative features never before seen in ANY other overdrive pedal ever made, the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI is a complete overdrive platform, designed to offer guitarists an incredible range of tones.

Featuring a very flexible soft-clipping overdrive circuit (with 4 distinct clipping style options), an innovative gain adjustment function called GAIN CYCLE, a 3-band active EQ for maximum tonal flexibility, as well as the same MOSFET boost circuit used in the PRISM pedal (Jackson Audio's best-selling product), the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI adds MIDI control of all its numerous parameters to all of this.

For the overdrive circuit, the pedal relies on a soft-clipping overdrive designed in the same manner as the legendary TS-808, but without a set "mid-hump." Instead, you can use the active 3-band EQ to shape the overdrive sound exactly as desired. There are also 4 distinct selectable clipping modes:

1. Green: Classic Screamer

2. Magenta: Asymmetrical Clipping – great for aggressive rhythm parts

3. Blue: Symmetrical Clipping – for a more focused and direct tone

4. Amber: Vintage Marshall – increased headroom for a more open and less compressed tone

One of the most exciting features of the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI is the GAIN CYCLE, which takes the GAIN knob setting and equally divides the relative gain level into four instantly accessible and cyclable stages. A unique signal level circuit matches the pedal's output when various clipping diodes are selected; it will then be possible to select between all four clipping options while maintaining a constant volume level.

The boost circuit is MOSFET-based, just like the AMP mode of Jackson Audio's best-selling PRISM preamp pedal. This has its own bypass loop, so it can be used independently of the DRIVE circuit. One of the factors that makes the boost on this pedal unique compared to others on the market is the availability of four styles. Each style has a slightly different equalization, allowing it to alter how it interacts with the overdrive circuit, in the same BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI or with any other pedal in the system.

To conclude, the DRIVE circuit has a 3-band active EQ that allows for extraordinary tonal flexibility. Based on the legendary Baxandall EQ found in countless studio devices, the BROKEN ARROW V2 MIDI takes this circuit and adapts it to the needs of guitarists. Jackson Audio spent an enormous amount of time fine-tuning this EQ to ensure it acted on all the frequencies guitarists need to adjust, and then sweetened the result by removing the parts of the highs and lows that cause listening fatigue when using extreme settings.
