Thanks to its natural and touch-sensitive behavior, the BLOSSOM pedal is ideal for musicians who typically don't use compression, but who want the typical "mastered" sound response that optical compression gives to a guitarist's tone.

Known for its transparency and delicacy, the BLOSSOM features an optical limiting circuit. Based on the "country-style" green channel of the BLOOM pedal, it is inspired by compressors designed during the golden age of tube circuits, making it perfect for musicians who want to apply compression with maximum simplicity.

While the pedal is capable of providing a very aggressive response when using the most extreme compression settings, its true strength lies in its ability to gently sweeten the sound, giving it roundness, while the optical circuit works to eliminate any uneven extremes. The frequency response of the compressor section is flat and does not emphasize or cut high or low frequencies from the signal.

Just as a well-designed compression circuit should, the BLOSSOM intervenes by altering the dynamics of the guitar signal but not its tone – the action of a good compressor should be felt, not heard!
