The AMP MODE Boost is based on the exact same MOSFET transistor boost circuit already used in Jackson Audio's renowned PRISM preamplifier. It pairs perfectly with other pedals, and also works great on its own.

As an always-on boost unit, or even as a second boost to add to the signal chain and other pedals, AMP MODE can truly help sculpt the signal drive, ranging from classic overdrive rhythms to the most saturated and articulate lead sounds.

MOSFET transistors are a very popular choice for boost circuits because they exhibit many amplifier-like characteristics when driven into clipping. However, several best-selling MOSFET-based boost pedals can generate very noticeable crackling when the gain knob is turned. Jackson Audio has studied this behavior and devised a way to solve this problem, so that when its knob is turned, the AMP MODE pedal is perfectly silent.

The single control on the pedal sets the overall boost level. AMP MODE is a true boost, as the signal is not intensified when its knob is turned fully counter-clockwise; instead, it acts as a unity-gain buffer, strengthening the guitar signal to prevent tonal loss in the presence of other effects pedals, or if very long cables are used.

You can use the AMP MODE pedal as a general signal preamp, as a boost to further intensify an overdrive pedal until saturation is reached, or as a post-overdrive boost to clarify the guitar signal and enhance it in the mix.

AMP MODE works with 9-18V power, features True Bypass switching, and boasts a small footprint with top-mounted connections for easy integration into any setup.
