The Ibanez Undersaddle pickup accurately reproduces the acoustic nature of the bass while the AEQ-2T preamp is designed specifically to adjust bass and treble frequencies and allows the built-in tuner to operate without the instrument being plugged in. The Laurel bridge transfers string vibrations directly to the body, delivering a natural, warm tone.

The wider fretboard (48mm at the nut, 60mm at the 14th fret) provides a more comfortable playing experience for those with larger hands and/or transitioning to an acoustic guitar from a classical guitar with a wide neck.

The Okoume top and Laurel fretboard provide a rich, warm sound. The Okoume back and sides generate a woody, warm sound when the guitar is played gently or fingerpicked, and provide punchy high-mids with clear projection when strummed. The Nyatoh neck provides a rich low-mid range.

The pins on this guitar are truly an advantage over old-style pins. Advantage pins are easier to pull out and easier to put in than standard pins.
