The Ibanez Undersaddle pickup accurately reproduces the acoustic nature of the bass, while the AEQ-2T preamp is specifically designed to adjust bass and treble frequencies and allows the built-in tuner to operate without the instrument being plugged in. The Laurel bridge transfers string vibrations directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.

The wider fretboard (48mm at the nut, 60mm at the 14th fret) offers a more comfortable playing experience for those with larger hands and/or transitioning to acoustic guitar from wide-neck classical guitar.

The Okoume top and Laurel fretboard provide a rich and warm sound. The Okoume back and sides generate a woody and warm sound when the guitar is played softly or fingerpicked, and provide punchy high mids with clear projection when strummed. The Nyatoh neck provides a rich low-mid range.

The pins on this guitar are truly an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to remove and easier to insert than standard pins.
