The Okoume top and Laurel fretboard provide a rich and warm sound. The Okoume back and sides generate a woody and warm sound when the guitar is played softly or fingerpicked, and provide punchy high mids with clear projection when strummed. The Nyatoh neck provides a rich mid-low range.

The pins on this guitar are truly an advantage over old-style pins. Advantage pins are easier to remove and easier to insert than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes it easier to grip the pin and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too deeply. But most importantly, with Advantage, the pin and string stay secure.
