John Scofield is an American jazz guitarist and composer who has explored various genres including acid jazz and fusion.

John Scofield stated about his signature models: "I loved the feel of the neck on my 1981 AS200, the guitar I always returned to. This became the basis for developing the JSM John Scofield Model introduced in 2001, which replicates the original AS200, with further improvements."
