In addition to a new look, the acoustic-electric guitar now also features a walnut fretboard and a new Ibanez AEQ TTS pickup system with integrated tuner. The combination of spruce top and sapele body gives the instrument a warm, bright sound, which is also reproduced very naturally through the pickup. The flat design and the short scale length of 634 mm offer the player an extremely comfortable playing experience even when standing, making the AEG50 perfect for stage use. The overall picture is completed by an elegant high-gloss finish and coordinated chrome die-cast tuners.
