Korg Handytraxx Tube is a portable belt-drive turntable with CPU-controlled rotation compensation. It features a NuTube valve preamplifier, an aluminum platter, a balanced tone arm, a JICO J44A 7 MM cartridge, a USB port for computer recording, integrated stereo speakers, RCA line/phono outputs, and a mini-jack headphone output. It can be powered by mains electricity or 6 AA batteries. It plays 33, 45, and 78 rpm records.

Like conventional valves, Nutube is built with an anode, a grid, and a cathode and operates exactly like a complete triode tube, effectively generating the same response and characteristic harmonic richness.
