Guild Italia F-512e Maple ATB Antique Burst Nitro

Description

The F-512 Maple ATB is back and better than ever. Formerly known as the F-512E Maple ATB, this US-made jumbo has been a staple in the Guild catalog since the early 1960s. It features a solid selected Sitka spruce top, solid arched flamed maple back, and maple sides. The neck is mahogany (C profile) with a central walnut reinforcement, the guitar's scale length is 651 mm, and the 48mm nut is made of bone, as is the saddle. Produced on the arched press present in the Guild factory since 1985, the F-512E Maple ATB offers defined and bright trebles and an articulated mid-range, perfect for a harp-like sound. The bracing is Adirondack spruce. This model produces brilliant highs (thanks to the maple), defined mids, and a warm, full low response, making it one of the most recognizable Guild 12-strings of all time. Elegant finishes include classic Guild "V-block" inlays, Gotoh SE700 open-gear gold hardware and tuners, and a beautiful glossy nitrocellulose lacquer Antique Sunburst finish that completes the construction qualities making it one of the most interesting 12-strings from Guild. The amplification system is L.R. Baggs EAS VTC Element (Anthem system available upon request).
