Guild Italia B-240e Nat Satin

Description

Guild began building acoustic basses in the mid-1970s with the B-50, which featured a jumbo body, arched mahogany back, and a 30 3/4" (781 mm) scale for ease of use. Decades later, all of this returns with our B-240E, an easy-to-play instrument with great sound. The instrument is built with a solid Sitka spruce top over an arched mahogany back and mahogany sides. The B-240E features a pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, a mahogany neck with a slim C profile with a 781 mm scale, a 1 5/8" (41 mm) bone nut and saddle, a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, and a mother-of-pearl rosette. Available in a Natural satin polyurethane finish. The B-240E will perform best in acoustic jams thanks to the onboard Fishman Bass Sonitone amplification system.
